NBS Terms and Conditions for the “Yakha Eyakho, Vaka Yako Promotion

These terms and conditions provide the guide for the above promotion.

  • Every $200 or more in deposits kept by the customer (limited to NBS customers with transactional and savings accounts only) for a running calendar month (multiplied by the number of months’ deposit was kept) during the period of the promotion will qualify as one entry into the draw for the house.  (Qualified Transactions)
  • Every $200 or more in deposits kept by the customer for a running calendar month during the period of the promotion will qualify as one entry into the draw for the monthly consolation prizes.  (Qualified Transactions)
  • Further to this Every $200 or more in deposits kept by the customer for a running calendar week during the period of the promotion will qualify as one entry into the draw for the weekly consolation prizes.  (Qualified Transactions)
  • The Campaign will be run on Qualified Transactions taking place from 3rd of April 2017 and until 30th of September 2017 for all NBS account holders.
  • Qualifying customers with the required deposits will be extracted from the Bank’s core banking system for purposes of running the weekly, monthly and grand winners draws.
  • Weekly draws will be conducted by NBS each Monday starting on the 10th of April until the 4th of September 2017 where 5 winners will be selected for each of the weekly draws and issued with consolation prizes in the forms of T-shirts, caps and or other branded give always.
  • Monthly draws will be conducted by NBS at the end of April 2017, May 2017, June 2017, July 2017, August 2017 and September 2017 during which periods, 10 winners will be selected for each of the monthly draws and issued with consolation prizes.
  • The grand draw will take place during the month of October 2017. The grand prize for the promotion is a fully built Two bedroomed house model Makatendeka (from the NBS ladder of housing designs)
  • Staff members of the bank and their immediate families as well as staff members of NSSA and of affiliated businesses, agencies as well as Staff members of the Ministry of Public Service, Labour and Social Welfare do not qualify for the Campaign. For purposes of this campaign Immediate family will be defined to include a person's parents, spouse, siblings and children. NBS may also deem other persons connected to a person by birth, adoption, marriage etc to fall within the scope of this definition.
  • The NBS account holder who is first selected out of the raffle draw will win the grand prize. Subsequent runners up may be selected in case the winner is not able to receive the grand prize.
  • The nature and value of the consolation prizes are subject to the bank’s sole discretion
  • The above terms and conditions are subject to change by NBS without prior notice.
  • By participating in this promotion, the participants agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of this offer.
  • Accounts held in the name of any individual (jointly or singly) who are in breach of any obligation to the Society as determined by NBS at its discretion will not be eligible to participate in the promotion.
  • If an account holder dies during the period of the campaign their beneficiary will not be eligible to participate in the campaign.
  • Any accounts which are in any way affected by Orders from the courts or other authorities in Zimbabwe or elsewhere will not be eligible to participate in the promotion.
  • Any balance growth as a result of accounts being credited with funds originating from a loan or mortgage disbursement shall not be considered in the campaign.
  • The decision of the bank is final and no negotiation will be entered into regarding the same.

By accepting the prize, the participant consents to the bank publicizing their names and using their images for the promotion of future events should the participant emerge a winner.
